Handmade multicolour Azilal wool rug

This is a genuine, soft, traditional Moroccan Berber rug, crafted by highly skilled artisans from Morocco's Atlas Mountains. It took around 3 to 4 weeks to make and is 100% handmade. It features the famous black diamond design, which is sure to bring the true Moroccan spirit into your home.

Azilal rugs are works of art through which each rural woman of the Azilal region tells her story. The themes are all inspired by tribal life, such as birth, motherhood, marriage and even farming.
Among the Berbers, it is said to be the rug that drives people mad. That is probably far-fetched, but I understand that some people are literally crazy about it. The Azilal manages to combine the color of the boucherouite with the fine first-shear wool of the Beni Ourain.
